PRSP Brings Back Face-to-Face National Student PR Congress & Grand Prix 2025 — Claudio R.

    April 17, 2025

“Live, Loud, and Limitless PR” to Empower Next-Generation Communicators

MANILA, Philippines — The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the country’s premier organization for public relations professionals, proudly announces the return of its flagship student events — the National Student PR Congress and Grand Prix — happening on November 6–7, 2025, at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, Manila.

This year marks a vibrant return with the theme “Live, Loud, and Limitless PR”. The two-day program is set to gather college students and educators from across the Philippines for an immersive experience of learning, collaboration, and competition — all aimed at equipping participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in public relations.

The event opens with the National Student PR Congress, featuring keynote talks, panel discussions, and breakout sessions led by top industry leaders. Topics will cover managing reputation in the digital age, responsible communication in the AI era, post-pandemic influencer dynamics, and the expanding role of PR in driving social impact.

On the second day, the spotlight shifts to the Grand Prix, a national inter-school competition where student teams will develop and pitch strategic campaigns in response to a real-world brief. Designed to simulate an agency pitch, the challenge tests participants’ creativity, strategy, and collaboration under pressure.

This year’s National Student PR Congress and Grand Prix are made possible through the dedication of the organizing committee, led by Chair Steve Michael Moore, Jr. and Co-Chair Franz Dela Fuente. Their leadership has been instrumental in bringing this flagship event back to a face to face setup.
Special recognition goes to the hardworking teams behind each working group: Ed Timbungco, APR, Mikee de Quiros APR, Mark Polo, Brian Ong, Charlotte Reyes, and Michelle Agatep-Baylon for the Student Grand Prix; Norman Agatep, APR for the Congress Program; Joe Zaldarriaga and Celeste Pia Alimon for Ways and Means; Mark Jonathan Parlade and Abigail Torres-Ho APR for Creatives and Promotions; and Angelene Buenaventura for Delegations. The event host, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde through the SMIT-Marketing Management Department, together with its student organizations: Guild of Events Management Students &  the Benilde Junior Marketing Association. Their commitment, creativity, and collaborative spirit continue to inspire and empower the next generation of communicators.

“This is more than a comeback to face-to-face events — it’s a comeback to confidence. Through live pitching and real-time feedback, we provide students with a platform to be heard, challenged, and celebrated. PRSP is here to shape practitioners who can lead, adapt, and use public relations as a force for meaningful change.”
Ma. Luisa P. Sebastian, President, Public Relations Society of the Philippines
