MANILA, Philippines — July 9, 2026 — Far Eastern University (FEU) Institute of Technology Multimedia Arts Batch 10 hosted its specialized industry seminar, “CoeXist: In Pursuit of Progress,” at the 17th Floor Multipurpose Room (MPR). The academic symposium brought together industry leaders to equip FEU Tech’s next generation of creative storytellers and content creators with actionable strategies for today’s dynamic corporate landscape.

PRSP President Ana Ruby Pista, APR, delivers her keynote, “PR in the Digital Age: Clicks, Trends, and Influence.”

Headlining the morning event was our President, Ana Ruby B. Pista, APR (CEO and Founder of Ardent Communications and BrandComm Asia, and CEO and Co-Founder of the AI Centre of Excellence). Delivering her keynote, “PR in the Digital Age: Clicks, Trends, and Influence,” Pista challenged students to embrace the complexities of personalized algorithmic feeds, shifting user habits, and the massive footprint of AI.

“Navigating the public relations and social media landscape this year feels a bit like trying to catch lightning in a bottle,” Pista noted during her address. “But as PR professionals, our core mandate hasn’t changed. We are still here to steward the story. The rules of engagement, however, have evolved. In 2026, the rule of the game remains brutal but simple: only those who keep in step with the changing landscape, adapt, and innovate will survive. Thrive, even.”

She discussed critical insights into ethical narrative stewardship and contemporary brand architecture, cautioning aspiring multimedia professionals that evolving strategies do not mean chasing every “shiny new object.”

Following Pista’s keynote, digital strategist Kristian Remigio took the stage to present “Monetizing Digital Presence through Affiliate Marketing.” Remigio provided a practical operational blueprint for turning creative multimedia assets into sustainable commercial ventures within the fast-growing creator economy.

Highlighting the framework behind the event’s identity, Joyz Zantua, MMA Batch 10 Head, explained how the seminar mirrors the students’ upcoming academic milestones.

“CoeXist is the first student-led coalition of its kind in our program, pioneering a new model that merges different creative genres for our final thesis requirement,” Zantua stated. “Heavily inspired by the structural and cultural diversity of the cities in the television series Arcane, our coalition explores the intersection of varied student perspectives and fast-evolving digital trends.”
